exploreMediation provides independent conflict resolution for businesses, entrepreneurs, investors and organisations in Amsterdam, throughout the Netherlands and internationally.

My work includes business and shareholder disputes, founder and investor conflicts, organisational and workplace mediation, as well as employment disputes.

  • MfN-registered mediator with a business-oriented approach;

  • former corporate lawyer with extensive legal and commercial experience;

  • experienced in employment and workplace disputes between employers, employees and executives;

  • executive coaching experience, bringing insight into leadership, communication and interpersonal dynamics;

  • extensive experience in international business environments;

  • fluent in Dutch and English;

  • comfortable working alongside lawyers and other professional advisers where needed.

I am not an employment lawyer and do not provide employment-law advice. My role is to remain independent and help parties find a workable way forward — whether that means restoring the relationship or agreeing on a separation.

Robert has more than 20 years of experience as a corporate lawyer and in-house legal counsel. This provides a solid understanding of the legal context of business and employment disputes, while keeping the mediation itself focused on finding a workable solution.

INTERNATIONAL & TECHNOLOGY

Extensive experience in international business, technology and digital environments. Robert works fluently in Dutch and English and is comfortable working with international founders, investors, executives and organisations.
